Classes

All of our classes are breath-centred, are based in the teachings of yoga, and focus on stability and ease for every body. Classes guide the student towards an awareness of the inner experience by weaving in mindfulness, meditation, and opportunities to reflect on the resonance of the world. See below for specific class descriptions, times, and to register. One spot per class in available on a sliding scale to students who cannot offer the full course fees. Yoga

7:30-8:45 pm at Conquer Training, 785 Sir John A MacDonald Parkway. Tends to follow the yoga rabbit holes I travel down. January 8- April 15 (No class Family Day, Easter Monday or March Break). $372.90, including HST.

 

Gentle Yoga +

Somatic Strength

Wed: 9:15-10:15a

 

Wednesday Gentle Yoga/Somatic Strength (online): 9:15-10:15 am. This class will be online. Reminder this class is *gentle* and yet builds strength. Classes run from January 10-April 17 with no class January 24, February 7 or March 12. $339, including HST.

I was introduced to brenda leifso yoga through the Parent & Baby class last fall. The class was flexible and supportive of parents and babies at various stages. Brenda encouraged mindful practice given the inevitable interruptions and really reinforced the idea that one can practice yoga any time. I am now in the Yoga I class and continue to love Brenda’s focus of breath, mindfulness and self acceptance. Practice is gentle yet strengthening and I always leave feeling restored and relaxed. On top of being an excellent yoga teacher, Brenda is a thoughtful and kind person. I love spending my evening with her.
